S-462 - Scale Inhibitor
S-462 is a LMW polyacrylic acid based scale inhibitor designed for prevention of the following scales: silicate, sulfate, and carbonation producing or injection wells.
S-462 is formulated for improved solubility in high TDS brines and increased scale inhibition properties.
S-462 does not require a tagging agent to determine residual measurement.

Applications
S-462 is an excellent scale inhibitor for squeeze applications to prevent downhole mineral scaling.
S-462 may be applied by continuous treatment at low dosages for consistent and cost effective scale protection.
S-462 may also be batch treated downhole at a rate based on total produced fluids.
S-462 is compatible with fracture systems and gelling compounds.
Batch treatment is generally recommended once or twice weekly for best results. Your CFR Representative can make a specific recommendation based on individual well characteristics.
