C-223 - Corrosion Inhibitor

A specially formulated corrosion inhibitor that gives excellent film persistency in the presence of severely corrosive fluids in gas gathering and transmission pipelines
Designed to be dispersible in fresh water, brine water and liquid hydrocarbons to achieve maximum mobility.
Effective over a broad range of liquid hydrocarbon to water ratios and corrosive conditions.
- Inhibits corrosion in critical areas, such as low points in bottom of gas pipelines where fluids tend to collect.
- Highly surface active to provide clean metal surfaces for application of film forming corrosion inhibitor.

Applications
Typical treating rates are 1 to 2 liters per million cubic feet of gas flow for normal operating conditions.
Systems carrying gas flow with extremely high levels of acid gases (hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide) may require a slightly larger treating volume.
Monitoring programs including Iron-Manganese counts and corrosion coupons will help determine optimum treating rates.
