5A-CaSO - Scale & Paraffin Removal
5A-CaSO is a single stage treatment for sulfate scale, carbonate scale, and paraffin, therefore eliminating the need for acid work after a sulfate converter job, and the need for a presoak prior to scale conversion.
5A-CaSO removes doubt of which scale to treat, since both CO3 and SO4 are removed in a single treatment.
5A-CaSO removes almost one pound of sulfate scale per gallon of treatment.
5A-CaSO removes almost one pound of carbonate scale per gallon of treatment.

Applications
5A-CaSO is recommended to be pumped neat, with dilution resulting in a linear reduction in effectiveness.
A minimum of 2.5 times the well bore volume of the proposed treating area is recommended for effective scale removal but never less than 1 drum.
FeNO must be used as the iron control.
An overnight shut-in is suggested for maximum effect.
