Applications
SC-512 is an excellent choice for prevention of down hole corrosion due to CO2, H2S, organic acids and saline waters.
Due to its high level of surfactancy, it leaves the down hole equipment clean and coated with a highly tenacious film.
SC-512 is extremely effective for inhibition of all mineral scales including barium sulfate.
SC-512 has a very high calcium tolerance and is soluble in almost all brines regardless of total dissolved solids content.
SC-512 may be batch treated by treating truck with treating rates of 20-30 ppm based on total produced fluids. 1-3 barrels of flush are recommended to insure that the chemical reaches bottom hole.
SC-512 is most efficient when injected continuously at 20-30 ppm based on total produced fluids.
