S-333 Scale Inhibitor & Iron Chelator
S-333 is a combination scale inhibitor, surfactant, and iron chelating agent.
The scale inhibitor portion of S-333 is a phosphonates, which will prevent calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate, and barium sulfate scales.
S-333 is formulated with a non-ionic surfactant to water wet solids and reduce injection pressure in produced water handling systems.
- As an iron chelating agent, S-333 functions by dissolving and holding iron in solution, preventing it from precipitating as insoluble iron salts.
