PE-259 - Paraffin & Asphaltene Control
PE-259 is a proprietary blend of solvents and co-solvents.
PE-259 performs the following functions: paraffin solvent/dispersant, asphaltene solvent/dispersant, asphaltene smearing prevention, oil/ iron sludge penetrant, formation water wetter and demulsifier.
PE-259 provides excellent rock preparation for acid and frac jobs, by stripping heavy hydrocarbons from the formation surface.
Even though PE-259 was designed for higher gravity crudes with high wax content, it has been found to be very effective in a wide range of hydrocarbon gravities and wax contents.
