P-651 - Paraffin & Asphaltene Control
P-651 is a combination paraffin/asphaltene control chemical.
P-651 contains paraffin solvents and inhibitors in addition to ingredients that break down asphaltene deposits that allows for flow improvement of heavy oils.
This broad treating range product contains solvents, dispersant, inhibitors, and surface-active agents.
P-651 dissolves, disperses and inhibits paraffin crystals.
It also dissolves, disperses and reduces the size of asphaltene in crude oil.

Applications
P-651 is added to crude oil to treat paraffin and asphaltenes.
Usually, continuous injection is the preferred method of treatment.
It should be added ahead of the point where paraffin and asphaltenes deposition is occurring. The severity of the problem will dictate dosage, but the normal treating range is 50-500 ppm.
P-651 can be an effective paraffin/asphaltenes solvent when used in batch treatments. A CFR Chemical sales representative can design a treatment for your specific application.
